WHAT IS A TACTICAL VEST?
A tactical vest is a piece of load-bearing gear worn on the torso over an individual's clothing. Tactical vests were popularized by the Marines and are used for military, law enforcement, or civilian purposes. The load-bearing capabilities of the vests can carry body armor for protection or to carry essential gear and ammunition. These vests come in a range of designs and styles depending on their intended use, from simple chest rigs to more complex plate carriers.
TYPES OF TACTICAL VESTS
There are three primary types of tactical vests:

- Cross Draw: A type of vest that allows for quick and easy access to a holstered sidearm.

Make sure to distribute the weight of your equipment evenly across the vest, with heavier items positioned closer to your center of gravity.
