I got this for competing in tactical games and training during workouts. It's held up great to all the abuse I've put it through wearing it multiple times a week and three Tactical Games events in rain and mud.
I am a retired Police Officer who had 16 years on SWAT. I purchased this plate carrier for a SHTF scenario. It is made very well and fits well. Does not bounce or shift very happy with purchase.
I like the clip system it’s nice because i have multiple guns and i can quickly change my mag pouches easily
I got this as an affordable way to carry weight plates for a weekly ruck with friends. In total I have worn it for about 12 miles with a small assault pack over it. I was prepared for some chafing and hot spots, but I've so far been impressed with how comfortable this plate carriers has been. The shoulder padding has been comfortable, the plate bags don't chafe, and actually breath quite well. I expect the cumberbund/waist strap to need some.kind of padding, but I haven't even noticed it. The way it's held with shock cord seems to be just right for letting it stretch just a little, but keep it tight while moving fast. I have been looking to see if the heavy steel plates are causing any wear to the plate bags, but I haven't seen any. I should note that I'm a bigger guy with fairly wide shoulder and a deep chest, so I've had problems in the past with some carriers riding up and chafing on my neck. This has not been an issue here, and while I'm using probably 90% of the adjustment length, it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a carrier ment for a smaller person. I'm seriously considering ordering a second one to replace the carrier i current use for training and swapping all my gear over. As long as any strange wear doesn't appear, I would gladly recommend this to anyone looking for their first, or a backup plate carrier. Also to any of you bigger guys who feel like you need something with some extra room
