I like the compact size not to wide where it's slightly more narrow than my plate carrier, slightly longer than my plate which is fine as is as it doesn't hang off or interfere with anything on my belt, it would be nice if there was a better exit for the hose than 2 zipper points but i know this as it is allows to move the hose left or right. Also a better bladder hanger would be nice pulling it high and tight to the top as it hangs low but this doesn't affect the of the overall functionality.
So I got this product with the intention of removing the straps and attaching it to my rear MOLLE to be utilized as a lowpro pack. At first glance you wouldnt know but it mounts best for that application upside down.
I’ve been using this hydration bag, for over 4 years (USMC).
I would not use this as a back pack, hydration pouch. Instead I’ve used it for my plate carrier, I swap the molles for clips to make it easier to remove. It’s small enough where it won’t get in the way, but still hold enough water.
I guess the only downside to it, is filling the pouch, with water, as you do have to completely remove the bag, and fill up, instead of having a quick access to just fill it up. But the pros outdo de cons in my opinion.
Came on time. It was very clean
