Need Khaki color, hurry up summer’s coming
These are perfect for the FL heat. Fit is great,no need for a belt. Will definitely get another pair.
I love the Cipher pants and recently bought a pair of these shorts. Since I love the pants, I love the shorts also. Stretchy, comfortable and the perfect arrangement of pockets. More colors please!
These are the perfect shorts. Perfect length, pocket placement, waistband flex, and looks. The zipper and especially button seem very durable. I love the smaller secondary front pockets which are perfect more my smaller EDC items such as chapstick, AirPods, lighters, KeyBar keys, small flashlight, etc.
I purchased one pair in each color and would absolutely love to switch over to these shorts if more colors were available, maybe a few other brown/khaki options and some blues/greens and gray. The FDE pair seem much darker in person, so I took a photo that I think shows their true color, not that I am dissatisfied with them.
The waistband has a bit of flex to it at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions which is a clever design. The belt loops easily accept my 1.75” Condor Cobra belt.
I like the material which is mostly nylon, but you do get that little bit of scratchy sound when wearing as you would with say swim trunks. I don’t think this should disuade purchase though given the durability and price-point which I believe to be very fair.
In summary, I highly recommend these shorts. For reference I am 6’4” and 260lbs. My weight fluctuates a little bit so a little flex is nice to have. They seem very durable and well manufactured, and are clearly designed with EDC in mind without looking like cargo shorts and being smartly styled as a sort of chino shorts hybrid without a ridiculously short inseam. They are true to size and comfortable.
