Honorable US Navy Vet, Boatswains Mate, bought this pack all the way back in 2006 from a website called Priorservice.com. I regret not writing a review sooner but in all fairness, when I bought this pack, writing online reviews wasn't even a thing... I was starting to attend college after the Navy and I needed a rugged pack with a padded compartment for my laptop and so.ething that would hold my books. This pack survived 2 college degrees, travels all across the US, parties, beaches, planes, tranes, busses, road trips, campouts, hikes and everything in between. This bag has gone everywhere I've gone for more than 18 years... After college I went back into the maritime industry on river tow boats and offshore commercial fishing vessels... This pack has gone on deployment after deployment, year after year... If my pack could talk and tell you the adventures it's been on it would be a living legend.

I have gotten so much utility out of this pack for the price I paid it's just unbelievable. I'm very happy with my purchase, and maybe some day soon this company will do a throwback on its original gangster Olive Drab ambidextrous sling pack.

I've used this bag since I was in high school in 2011. The SAME bag. It's been with me for my entire adult life. I've used it every day, brought it to every job, camping trip, vacation, school, deployment, concert, you name it. It's barely showing any wear at all. Extremely sturdy. I love the single strap design combined with the perfect amount of space for EDC and a little extra if need be. I have mine in the old multicam, wish they came in as many colors as they used to otherwise I'd probably order a new one today (unless you guys are willing to freshen up my old one 😉)

I have used the Ambidextrous Sling Bag since Aug 28, 2012 as my EDC. This bag is well designed. There is a huge amount of storage. The strap is easily adjusted for left or right shoulder carry. The weapon pocket easily holds my full size auto. The opposite pocket holds spare mags. The front pocket has places for wallet, keys, pins, thumb-drives and the like. In the middle pocket I carry a first-aid kit and tools. The main compartment is very large and I usually carry binders and a change of cloths.

Last month my wife had to re stitch the zipper which closed the main compartment. After 10 years of daily use the bag began to show some wear.

I do wish the bag was available in other colors. Other than that I have no complaints. I will order another when this one wears out... in another 10 years or so.
