Nice Jacket but tight at waist Review by Ron B (Texas) 11/18/2015 2:23 PM
This is a well made product. I ordered an XXL (50-52" chest) and that fits ok. The waist is a tad tight at 44 -46" for someone with a larger chest. Snug but I can wear it. Otherwise nice features in a jacket at this price. I probably should have gone with an XXXL.

Awesome Fleece Review by Matticus (Washington) 2/11/2015 10:48 AM
I really like this fleece. I have layered it under my Summit Softshell and stayed warm when it was -10 with windchill going to the -20, -30F. It's pretty nice. The only complaint is it runs small. Not like typical Condor, but the Medium was more like a Small. Either way it's an awesome year around piece to have. In the summer for camping, winter for layering or hard work.

A good fleece that needs just a few tweaks. Review by Jay Anderson (Glenwood, IA) 2/11/2015 10:12 AM
I really like the fleece and I wear it every day for work. I have broad shoulders and the large was a little tight, so order a size larger than what you think you should get. The pockets and storage options are fantastic but for a tactical fleece, the zippers should open by pulling UP. Having zippers open down on a tactical clothing item is a bad idea because the zipper could work itself down and the contents fall out. Other then that, this fleece is amazing and is very well constructed.

Another Great Condor Product Review by Chris K. (Wisconsin) 2/9/2015 5:13 PM
After buying one of Condor's Summit Soft Shell Jackets and being very happy, I looked to try one of these. Once again Condor does not disappoint. This is another high value/high quality product. The build quality is excellent. Very warm and comfortable. You can pay more for another brand for this type of coat--but why? Condor nails it again!

Love It Review by Steve (St. Charles, IL) 3/30/2014 6:51 AM
This is a great fleece and I love the fit. I see one guy complained about the length but I honestly like the shorter fit to the waist. With the sleeve extensions it actually fits my long knuckle dragger arms I have, yet with the shorter (to the waist line) zipper it allows me access to my duty gear. I would love for you to get this in a Dark Navy Blue. You would sell a boat load to patrol officers due to the higher ride. For patrol you may want to get ride of the velcro on the sides however for sew on patches. Just an idea.

Nice Review by Wolf (Canada) 2/7/2014 2:02 AM
Excellent workmanship, great looking jacket and amazing price. The inside of the jacket is made of mesh and not fleece but it feels nice anyway. I'm 185 lbs, 5'10", 40"inch chest and depending on manufacturer, I wear either large or medium, it is always a guess. Since, everyone said the jackets runs small, I went with the large and it fits perfectly and I mean perfectly. So, yeah it runs a little small. It would be nice if Condor came up with another fleece that was windproof, velcro cuff straps, perhaps one more zipped inside pocket, modify drawstring waistband so it doesn't stick out at all. If we were to loose the extendible sleeve and patches, that would be ok too. And if you guys want to go all out make it somewhat fire resistant as we all like to hang around campfire, hey, perhaps even waterproof. All at reasonable price, you would make huge money.

A good addition Review by Gabe (Southern NJ) 12/9/2013 10:34 AM
I purchased the Alpha as an addition to my Condor Summit and Phantom jackets (to be used as a liner), but it's a good stand alone, cool weather jacket as well. Pockets just about everywhere you might need them. They run a little small, so I ordered "up" one size. The sleeve length is fantastic, great for a tall person like me! Very warm, and thin, so it should make an excellent liner for my other coats as well. I would recommend this jacket, highly!

Going strong on 2 years and about 15 washings Review by Jason (NC) 12/4/2013 3:14 PM
This thing is plenty warm for the winters in NC. I have never gotten cold, but it doesn't get so warm that you have to take it off if going into a store or something, either. Does run a tad small. I ordered a Large and usually wear a Medium. Black has not faded, nor has the fleece pilled or matted like cheap "store/in style" brands. Fairly water repellant due to the nylon cape. Best jacket I have ever had.

Great Jacket Review by Mike Albright (California Gold Country) 2/24/2013 1:42 PM
This jacket is great. Well built, comfortable and warm. Great at the range or just as a casual everyday jacket. My only gripe is the fit, it's a bit short. Otherwise it's awesome!

Worth every cent! Review by DutchyOrange (Australia) 2/6/2012 8:02 PM
I got mine of Ebay in 2XL in black, I give it a 10 out of 10, keeps me warm, looks great, lots of pockets. I am 6'4' about 240 pounds and it fits me perfect! I love the thumb hole sleeve, like I said 10 out of 10.

Very nice jacket, but would like to see a couple of things different Review by Xavier (Tooele, UT) 2/28/2011 6:19 AM
I was so impressed with one that I bought two, one for myself and one for my wife. This easily has to be the best jacket I've purchased in a long time and can tell by the way it's made that it will last a long time, which is something I can't say about previous comparable jackets I've bought. I would like to see a couple of changes in future runs maybe. First would be the main double zipper. I've noticed through regular movements that the bottom zipper does not stay very well and starts to seperate up towards the main zipper unit. Replacing this with a heavy duty single zipper would be preferred. The second thing is the cuffs with the thumbhole. I can't say that I'll be using the thumbholes very often, if at all. I actually find that when moving my arms during my work (my arms are actually a bit shorter than the sleeves themselves) that sometimes the sleeves go over my hands and trying to pull the sleeves back results in either the thumb or index or middle finger getting caught in the thumbhole. Having either a fully elastic cuff or an adjustable velcro cuff like on current military issue shirts would resolve the issue of the sleeves covering the hands for wearers. Despite my little nitpickings, this is still a five-star jacket for me and I can see myself buying several more over the years.

GREAT bargain for the price Review by Bill Reed (MA) 10/11/2010 11:46 AM
I bought this in OD as a replacement for a TNF 300 weight fleece that is worn out. All I can say is that this is one of the best fleece jackets I have owned to date. The pockets are well built and hold what they need to hold, the zippers seem rugged enough for general use (although plastic in consistent freezing weather has proven to fail), and the nylon reinforced areas block wind effectively. My one complaint would be the thumbhole warmers. I have never been a fan of these, as I would either wear a light glove, or nothing at all-the thumb things do nothing for me. The also make for a bigger wrist opening, allowing precious heat to vent from your wrist area, which isnt great for keeping your hands warm. Thats the ONLY complaint I have for this jacket though. I have owned it for only a month, and it has only seen light use as of yet-I plan on writing a more in depth review after a good winter's worth of use.

Just got Awesome Review by Jonathan (Chicago) 9/14/2010 7:01 PM
Just got this in the mail today. got the coyote tan in XL. I usually wear a 44-46inch regular coat with a 35inch sleeve and 36inch waist. This jacket fits like a glove. It gives me more than enough room in the chest and shoulders, the sleeves could be a tad bit longer and the body could be a tad longer as well. however, the body and sleeves are long enough they hit just below the belt line and the wrist. When i lift my arms overhead the jacket doesnt raise up above my belt. Bottom line its a good fit. the quality is pretty good too. The stitching and material feel pretty sturdy. Once I wear it around and wash it and break it in I will review it more. for now it is a great buy!

Great all around jacket Review by joe (Iowa) 3/6/2010 11:46 AM
i use this jacket for hunting, daily use and paintball. great product durable, well designed i like how the chest and arm pockets have are moblie/radio compatable. another cool feature is the wrist cuff have slits in them to put you thumbs trough. In my opinion it is better than the more expensive north face and columbia flecces.

Chief - Law Enforcement Mountain Operations School Review by STEVEN R.TOMSON (SPOKANE, WA) 1/15/2010 4:18 PM
I have been wearing this fleece jacket for several weeks in tempatures ranging from 15 to 40 degrees F. in both snow and light rain. Layered over a level one or two undershirt, the jacket is very comfortable and warm. It sheds water very well and drys out quickly. This is a very comfortable jacket to wear and the sleeve and chest pockets are very functional. This jacket is a large. My usual jacket size is 42 long. It fits well in the shoulders and chest. The sleeves are a tad too short for me to use the thumb loops, the the cuff lenght is pretty good. Excellent product and I will wear it a lot.

Purchased this jacket about two months ago and wear it everywhere. It offers maximum comfort and durability. Had no problems with comfort even wearing a plate carrier over it for 10 plus hours. thumb holes in cuffs were a blessing when training in cold weather. Over all one of the best jackets I have owned.

Director of Security Review by Vince (Los Angeles) 12/18/2009 6:13 PM
The fleece jacket provides warmth and functionality. One thing that it does not mention on the description is that it has ports to wire your mobile gadgets, which is a plus. The torso and sleeves are a little short, doesn'ty allow much movement without it riding up, which can be uncomfortable, and I'm a usually a medium and I ordered a large. I like that the cuffs leave room to allow you to put on the jacket while wearing a bulky watch like a Pathfinder or Suunto watch. Other than that I was surprised on how well the quality of the jacket was. The reinforced areas are tough, not some light weight nylon. And last but not least they should add some pockets for mobile gear a located a little lower on the torso to compensate for the excess cable. When I place my mobile gadgets in the pockets I finf myself trying to stuff the remaining cable in the pocket, and have a tiny pocket with the port to stick the earbuds into while not in use so their not flying around or hanging out the bottom of the jacket, I find myself putting my mobile unit in the sleeve pocket and pushing my earbuds through the port through the napolean pocket to try and alleviate this issue. But overall good product, thanks.
