I bought this carrier about two and a half years ago but didn't use it much till the last 6 months. Primary uses are LARPing, with some duty added on the side. For the price it was alright, but the shoulder straps were very uncomfortable with a load. I had to buy a set of shoulder pads to make it comfortable. Adding the cost of the cummerbund, the shoulder pads, and the chest placard made this over well over $200, which I think makes it more expensive than it ought to be, since it seems to be trying to fit into the "budget" category.
Under light use it seemed to be fine, but with a set of plates in and equipment attached, the shoulder straps were (as mentioned above) very uncomfortable. Overall, with the added shoulder pads and the cummerbund, it's a very comfortable carrier. After two and a half years, the Hypalon(ish) material that makes the shoulder straps has started separate from the main body of the carrier at the upper, inner connecting point.. It's not bad enough at this point to warrant concern (very minor currently), but with the light use it's seen up till recently, I'm not sure how long this carrier would last under duty use for an extended period.
Overall, I'm fairly pleased with it, but the shoulder straps separating made me question the quality and potential longevity of it for any sort of hard use.
