SUMMIT ZERO SOFTSHELL JACKET
- Product Review (submitted on July 5, 2019):
I had the regular softshell version (602) and used it for 9 consecutive years on a daily basis in spring and fall for non-military use (outdoors, going to school, work, biking, etc). The only thing that broke was the main zipper and one velcro strap at the wrist that got unglued but it was easily fixed. For the comfort, durability, style, conveniance of pockets (and the hood), and the price that is under 100$ I give it a solid 9/10. I carried this jacket in North America, Europe, in the city, in the woods...rain, snow...I personally unstitched and removed the velcro patches to have a less military look. I wouldn't say it's waterproof but it does protect you under a light rain. The reason why I bought the lighter version this time (609) is because the regular version becomes a bit too warm for my taste when wearing it for too long. So I am very happy to see a lighter version. Good job Condor.
