PHANTOM SOFTSHELL JACKET
- Product Review (submitted on July 5, 2019):
- Ok, I got suckered into the fleece craze when I found a North Face on 75% off sale only to realize that it SUCKED at blocking wind and rain just soaked it. Trendy garbage. I decided to look for a light tactical jacket that actually functioned and found this Condor Phantom. Two weeks of wearing and it really does block rain and wind. For Spring weather here in VA, it's perfect and has all the pockets I need for my phone, IDs, EDC knife, etc. I'm 5'10", 158lbs and the medium fits great, but if you had a pot belly it might be too snug around the middle, but that's how it's supposed to be so it doesn't get in the way of a belt holster. My local shop threw in a free SWAT black American flag for the velcro side panels. It has a nice fleecy feeling inside and is great for your 40 - 60 degree days all by itself. Zipper at the bottom does take a bit of getting used to, but seems to be holding up fine.
